I•RES has a highly experienced board including Thomas Schwartz, President and CEO of CAPREIT (TSX:CAR.UN) (, as a representative of the investment manager, and David Ehrlich as Executive Director. Three other independent Irish Directors have held senior positions in a number of private and public companies.

IRES has appointed IRES Fund Management Limited, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of CAPREIT Limited Partnership as its alternative investment fund manager. IRES Fund Management Limited is authorized and regulated in Ireland by the Central Bank of Ireland. All decisions on acquisitions and related financing require approval of the Board of I•RES and may be posed by the investment manager. Day-to-day administration and operations will be provided by the investment manager’s team in Dublin, and will have the full support and receive the benefit of CAPREIT Limited Partnership’s senior management and administrative team.

The Board will fulfil the responsibilities typically undertaken by a management engagement committee. These duties and responsibilities include the regular review of the performance of, and contractual arrangements with, the Investment Manager and only the independent Non-Executive Directors will be involved in undertaking such review.
